FAMILY & COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP | GRADED A

In this module, my group and I were tasked to design a family resource corner where parents sit comfortably to relax, and to gather more information from the school and the community such as posters and take home kits.

​

Through this project, I was able to apply Bronfenbrenner's Bio-Ecological Systems Model, Epstein's Model of Family Involvement, and Baumrind Parenting Styles.

Floor Plan
Wall Space

To accompany my lesson plan for children aged 5 to 6 year old, I designed a wall space based on the theme of culture and diversity titled "This is Us!", to show children the that we should not allow our differences to divide us.

Additionally, I designed the floor plan for the Discovery of the World learning corner for children to have a safe and conducive environment to engage in their learning corner activity.

For this module, I was tasked to create an interior design of a classroom for infants and toddlers.

To meet the requirements of the project, I applied my knowledge of the environment requirements, ECDA regulatory guidelines, and the different regions and zones for both infants and toddlers.
