ADVANCE ELECTIVE MODULE (AEM)

2017

During the week of AEM with Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Tourism and Resort Management, the group and I were being brought around to Singapore's most popular sights which contributes tourism economy.

After the week was over, a test was given to test us how much have we learnt throughout the week, and I was given a Certificate of Completion for meeting the satisfied requirements of AEM in the Fundamentals of Tourism Management.

2017

To be the only 5 in the cohort to be selected to work at a flower shop for a week, just like a regular full-timer was an once in a life time, eye opener experience.

To survive the week at a flower shop, I had to start my days as early as 5am to receive the freshest flowers possible. On top of that, I was tasked to cut, arrange, and pack flowers to attract as many people as possible to purchase them.

Flower arrangement was my favorite job during the entire week. I learnt how different flowers complimented each other, and how to choose the correct colors of wrapping paper and ribbon to pull the bouquet together.
