PART-TIME WORK

PIZZA HUT

June 2021 - CURRENT

As a part-time kitchen staff, my responsibilities include making dough from scratch to be used throughout the day, placing the toppings on dough, baking the pizza, cutting the pizza to be served, and washing of pans.

Even though I have not started working here long, my journey so far have been rewarding and worthwhile to be able to gain insights and knowledge to what makes Pizza Hut's pizza so special, and to be part of the Pizza Hut family.

KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN (KFC)

May 2019 - CURRENT

I started off my journey in KFC as a part-time kitchen staff and cashier at a delivery outlet. My responsibilities include cashiering, cleaning of tables, building of burgers, cooking of fries, and packing of orders.

After 3 months in, I was given the opportunity to learn how to batter and cook the chicken, expanding my responsibilities in the kitchen. Additionally, I was given the luxury of handling customer services and planning the weekly schedule.

In June 2021, I was transferred to a dine-in outlet, and was promoted to a Service Rockstar, making me the 4th go to person in the store, with a total of 41 staffs and growing. Part of my promotion includes the being the head of training and service branding. (Includes drawing on takeaway bags and post-its during festive seasons and gathering feedback from customers to further improve the company.) 

I have been awarded with the opportunity to attend a masterclass chef to earn the title of a MasterChef, and to become a part-time manager.

SHAW THEATRES

July 2018 - November 2020

I started off my journey in Shaw Theatres as a part-time customer service officer. My responsibilities include selling movie tickets and food to customers.

After 4 months in, my responsibilities expanded to stock taking, popping of popcorn, and training of new staffs.
